May 2015, Syrian Kurdistan. Viyan and Ararat, both 25 years-old, form part of the womens wing of the Kurdish guerrilla movement. Approximately 100 of them have taken up arms to fight ISIS on the front line. They describe their daily life, their reasons for fighting and the suffering that it implies.
